Katie Price Make Up

Myself, Sharon & Pamela were a mobile glam squad for the lovely Katie Price this weekend.

HD brows by Sharon Cameron, hair by Pamela Docherty & make up by me.

Katie was so lovely & she’s so naturally pretty that it was easy to create the fresh glowing look that she requested – product details below.

It was such a fun evening & lovely to work as a team on location – you can usually find us in our salon 132 West Regent Street in Glasgow City centre.

Lilac & Turquoise Eyes

As something a bit different, I decided to try out some colour in my make up – I’m a big fan of neutrals, so decided to try some lilacs and turquoises for a complete change.

I used a few different lilac & turquoise pigments by Mac, keeping my eyes defined with black liner and Eldora lashes.

Kylie Jenner Inspired Make Up

I love Kylie Jenner’s glamorous take on a simple make up look.

Using neutral colours from Bobbi Brown’s gorgeous ‘Nude on Nude’ palette, to create a contoured, neutral eye, finished with Eldora lashes.  I kept my skin simple and tried to recreate Kylie’s signature overdrawn pout using Mac Cosmetic’s ‘Subculture’ lip liner.

Loving Eldora Lashes

I was recently sent a lovely package of Eldora lashes to try – and I love them!

This is the style number H125 – perfect full natural lashes.

I did a quick ‘spotlight lid’ eye make up using Bobbi Brown ‘Champagne’ shadow on the lid and Bobbi Brown ‘Velvet Plum’  – finished with black liner and my Eldora lashes.

(Apologies for my brows!  It was a couple of days before my HD Brow appointment!)

Soft Grey Smokey Eye

I recently used the Mac ‘Cool Neutrals’ palette to create this soft grey smokey eye make up.

The lashes are layered Eylure individual lashes in medium and short lengths.

This palette is a really wearable collection of both matte and shimmer shades in cool neutral tones, I also purchased the ‘warm neutral’ palette and I can’t pick a favourite!

Make Up for Green Eyes

A recent make up of the day using colours to emphasise green eyes.

I used Mac Cranberry eyeshadow as the main colour in this eye look, it is a gorgeous pinky bronze colour, which contrasts perfectly with green eyes.

I finished this look with a set of my favourite Eldora eyelashes style number H125’s.

Natural Beauty Shoot

I recently did make up on a shoot with Gillian Allan of Sapphires Model Management and Hamish Campbell Photography. The make up was really soft and natural – I had just purchased my Mac neutrals palettes and used shades from the ‘warm’ one. I love how the images have turned out! _HCP1837   _HCP1694 _HCP1730 _HCP1789   Jen x

Saturday Night Make Up

I love getting the chance to do a glam make up look for myself, as day to day I wear pretty natural make up. I had a space between weddings and clients so decided to do my own make up on Saturday in the salon.  I never really unpack my kit just for myself, but I was set up for clients anyway! I used an Illamasqua pigment called ‘Ore’ that I hadn’t used before, and I really loved the greeny bronze toned shimmer that it gave.  I also used a set of Eylure’s new double lashes, number 210s.  I kept my skin simple but bronzed, using Mac mineralize skin finish in shade deep, and Kevin Aucoin bronzer. Festival Make Up for STV – The Riverside Show

Today Pamela (my business partner in Asteria Bridal) was asked to appear on STV Glasgow’s The Riverside Show, to demo festival hair styles.

I was back stage with Pamela and created a Coachella inspired festival make up look on her model.

The key products that I used were my new Bobbi Brown ‘Nude on Nude’ palette, Barry M Dazzle Dust in ‘Tan’, Eylure lashes no 149, and my newest kit addition – Kevin Aucoin bronzer.  The crystals were a pack I picked up in the arts & craft section of WH Smith.

Our model was Superior Model Management beauty Susie.

Here is a quick before and after of the look.

Bobbi Brown ‘Nude on Nude’ & ‘Surf & Sand’ Palettes

I love when brands like Bobbi Brown bring out limited edition palettes, as I find them a great way to add groups of colour to my kit – it’s so much easier than personally grouping tones and messing about with individual shadows.

I had felt recently that I was low on gold & bronze neutral options, so I was thrilled when I spotted the new palettes on Bobbi Brown’s website.

I bought the ‘Nude on Nude’ and the ‘Surf & Sand’ palettes, and created a quick look using them tonight.

I used Ivory & Birch from ‘Nude on Nude’ and Frappe, Saddle & Blazing Star from ‘Surf & Sand’.

The palettes are really versatile, with a range of matte & shimmer shades, there is one duplicate shadow which is in both palettes, a little annoying, but not everyone would purchase both.

I’m looking forward to experimenting with these and trying some more golden eye looks.

Sorry for the terrible moody photos!
